Technical Support Terminology

1.
Nominal ressure: the maximum rated pressure permissive for fluid of oil below 120℃ or water flow with fluctuating load to withstand without any leak or other malfunction at each position.
For example: 125S 600W.O.G. (C.W.P)
Description: 125 stands for a nominal pressure, 600W.O.G means the valve seat shall not access leak phenomenon when received a pressure of 600psi (42kgf/cm2) for operation of water, oil and gas flow at normal temperature.
2.
W.O.G Water, Oil and Gas.
3.
C.W.P Cold, Working, Pressure; the operating temperature under normal temperature (-28.9°C ~ 65.6°C)
4.
S.W.P Steam, Working, Pressure
5.
Pressure unit:
Kgf/cm2,PSI(1b/in2)。For instance:1Kgf/cm2=14.2233PSI 125PSI=8.5Kgf/cm2
6.
Flow coefficient Cv value: flow rate (in gallons / minute) of water at 60F passing through the valve when the pressure differential of valve is maintained at1b/in2;that is, flow volume passing through the valve per minute.
7.
Sweating phenomenon when the temperature of fluid flowing in the pipe is lower than the atmospheric temperature outside the pipe, air will condense to form water drop on the surface of external wall from the pipe. This phenomenon is called as sweating phenomenon.
